Appreciate any help on this one.
My 1994 Audi 80 2.6 V6 ABC engine stop firing on 1 and 6 cylinder.
I have replaced coils and this did not help in any way, still not firing 1 and 6 cylinder.
As i am in Kalgoorlie and it is to far driving to Perth (my blow engine driving on 4 cylinders), i would extremely appreciate a good advice on possibli checking and repairing this problem i have.:(

Regards

Have you checked the knock senors and possibly the spark plug wires and plugs themselves? Self test....start the engine and carefully(very carefully) remove the #1 spark plug wire. If the engine sound doesn't change then there is no spark for sure getting to that cylinder. Now do the same for # 6 and listen. If same trace back to the coils and if it's got new coils trace back further to the power source. Hope this helps! Could be as simple as a couple of bad connections to the spark plugs or the plugs are fouled up!

Yeah I think I would agree with you 4 Rings...But you must make sure you get the absolute correct spark plugs. Don't get something cheap. You should never nickel and dime these audi engines, as they are very tempermental. Trust me BTDT! Go with the bosch plugs I believe they are F6DTC.
