I suggest people don't use axle or bearing grease or copper based anti-seize compound, do use Graphite based anti seize. About $5 per small bottle at local NAPA. Comes with tiny applicator brush and is useful around the shop.
Or could use a waxy chain lube from the agricultural or motorcycle worlds, might resist water a bit better.
