I have come across the problem where aluminium wheel are seized onto the axles because on new build at the factory the wheel is fitted dry. Corrosion between the steel hub and aluminium wheel corrodes and makes it impossible to remove the wheel in the normal manner.
My car is just 6 Months old, wheels have never been removed since new and 3 out of 4 were seized solid. This required a club hammer and wood to remove them.
I suggest all owners of all cars with aluminium wheel remove them and slightly smear the hub spigot with grease to stop corrosion.
