Did you replace the speakers or add an amp to your car? Were you too lazy to run the cords/wires thru the gromet in your firewall and just run them thru the door instead? This screws up your door seal and lets water in when it rains. My friend did this on his car, that's why I mention it.

I am a new member to this forum and own a 2001 a6 avant 1.9 tdi.
I have recently noticed that the carpet in the passenger footwell is very wet and wondered if anyone can shed any light on the problem, or has had a similar experience.
I am interested to hear any comments
