I recenlty purchased this used 1996 A4 and now I noticed that in the backseat on the floor behind the passengers chair their is a large puddle of water. There apears to be something underneath the passenger seat that looks like some sort os vent. I think the water could possibly be coming from that. If anyone knows anything about this please post it or email me. Thank you.

My man

All jokes aside, take a hose pipe and have someone, clinb inside the car. and check for leaks, while hosing the car on the problem side. By the way, there are vents under both front seats. Those are air-conditioning vents for the passengers in the rear. it could be that the vent has a crack in it. It would be advisible to track along the vented pipe if you can. Do you use your air-con alot???

The vent under the seats could be taking on excess water from the air-conditioning, which is actually condensation. This excess dripage usually drops under the car, while the air-con is running.

hope this helps.
Peace out
laters! :innocent:
