I've been trying to figure out for a very long time how to resolve this water problem from the back seat carpet area of both the left AND right side. I've read through all the topics regarding this problem and I still don't understand how to fix it. :puzzled: There was a link in one of the topics to a site with pictures and brief descriptions but the pictures don't show up all I see is a box indicating there's a picture. Could someone help me figure out this problem and be kind enough to take pictures to show me where exactly the suspect areas are? It would be very helpful to me and would take a big load off my back. Thanks so much.

I think it might be the B pillar on the driver side as the water seems to be heaviest on the driver (left) side. There is a bit but very little water on the passenger (right) side. From reading previous posts I realized that it may also be water coming from the vents on the bottom of the seats? Wher are those vents and how can I prevent them? I've read about it but still didn't understand I found a site which was suppose to have pictures but the pictures don't come up. It's getting to be annoying quickly. Hope someone knows. Thanks.

Hi I had the same problem you have and it turned out to be a split/blocked pollen filter box under the scuttle. Rain and water drained down behind the dashboard and under the carpet. Although the carpet in the rear was soaking and wet (frozen when really cold) the whole underneath was flooded. Took car to main dealer was gonna cost an absolute fortune to dry out. Took it to independent Audi specialist and they sorted it out for me cost £300.
