The turn signals on my 2001 A4 2.8 Quattro recently started to act funny. Sometime they work, sometimes they'll blink a few times then stop. Could this be just the bulbs failing, or could I be looking at a biggeet electrical or switching problem?

probably the relay ... you could replace one of the bulbs ($3) and see what happens, but my bet is the relay.
