Hello -
I purchased a used 1997 Audi A4 1.8T, I had it all checked out and everything seemed fine.
Recently on a road trip back from Maine my car hit the 90,000 mile mark. Shortly after I dropped off a friend and when I started my car again I noticed that the trip section of the odometer was flashing "1n1" for a little while and then it goes away. This happens everytime I start my car now.
The car drives perfectly and I have not noticed anything strange.
Is this something that is preprogrammed into the car that if it hit 90,000 miles I should bring it in for service? Or could it be something much worse?
Is there a list of engine codes that could help diagnose these codes?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
