hello.. I got a question with the transmision of my audi.. its a 97 audi a4 quattro 1.8t .. the problem starts when i go on a hill .. when starting to go up the transmision wont change gear.. i have to rev it up to 5500rpm so the other gear can go through... i have already change the transmision because the mechanic told me that the issue was the full transmision.. it cost me 3000dlls the transmision and still the same issue.. then they told me it was a sensor but still same thing... any ideas..?? i dont wanna spend another amount of 3000 in my car..

i don't mean to be that guy but...
did you by any chance happen to ponder that your car knows it doesn't have enough torque in 4th or 5th to go up a hill at speed.. and you just don't?

just saying.
my worry with my A/T car is that AFTER i climb a hill like that, i'm stuck in a lower gear for a long time.
