Is it ok to send the car to a normal garage (e.g. kwik fit, national tyres etc etc) for the wheel tracking to be done? Or do I really have to have it done with Audi garage?

2002 multitronic A4.

Cheers guys.

Another question, perhaps less stupid > Been checking around for second hand second car > Found a really beautiful Maserati GT 3200. Did make me wonder, if that is going to cost less than, for example, second hand RS4, given the same mileage, surely anyone in their right sense would go for Maserati?

You don't say if your car is a Quattro or not. Mine is and I couldn't find anybody who was willing to touch it for a 4 wheel alignment other than the Audi dealer.

Personaly I would either go to a dealer or a tyre/suspension specialist preferably one thats been recommended.
I once had my BMw tracked at a specialist and they even knew that they had to load the car to track it properly, I dont think the quick places would have known that
