Hi..

was going down the motorway yesterday and doing around 75 - 80mph.. and all of a sudden the speed on the clock dropped to 60mph and then rocketed back to the correct speed -- i then put the hammered down a bit and eased off and the needle jumped to a different speed 3 times. it moved really quick.. ie 1 second and then back to normal...

since this i have driven around and had no issues

Any ideas... not had chance to get it on VAG COM yet but i dont know if this would show on it anyway??

any one had the same issue??

Could be a loose connection for the Speed sensor.

I have the same problem in my B5 S4 for a while now too. Does anyome know a solution to this problem?
