:blink: The front screen wipers on my 96 A3 have suddenly gone to a very slow motion? What s the problem? It s not the fuse as that sOK?

yep...my front wipers go all slow ater not using them for a few days...seems to be something siezing up because they free off to normal speed if you get a good downpour. i also tried a few drops of light oil on the spindle that you can just get to without removing the plastic cover and this appears to have made things a bit better.

anyone else got this problem and/or a more permanent solution?

The wipers are powered by connnecting rods under the front hood near to the windshield. I replaced these rods as the ball joints that connect them wear out after time.
