I'm an Audi newbie so be gentle!!!!:)

Got an '02 Allroad TDI (for the wife!) and have a slight hum from the back of the car, nothing too loud but its there. Sounds to me like a rear wheel bearing (does it come as a complete hub or just the bearing?), if so is this a DIY job as I'm fairly good with the spanners?
Is there anything else it could be and any way of checking?

Has anyone done a sticky or a step by step thread?

Thanks in advance.

Just a bearing and you need a press. There is a technical aspect to it also as you must press in certain areas of the bearing to ensure long life. If you use ANY pressure on the inner race, it will be dead in less than 5k miles.
