As of Saturday, June 5th, I have joined the ranks of proud Audi owners.
2001 A6 2.7T 6spd....Sure is FUN!

Couple of questions:
1. The front passenger side window goes down fine, but on the way up the motor starts to stuggle and finally stalls.

2. I have some vibration at highway speeds (70 mph or so). I don't know if its the car (maybe a wheel balancing issue).

Lucky you!!Found a 6 speed!! I have the Tiptronic, but still a lot of fun. Sounds like you may have a window motor going out. Those are symptoms I had on a different car before it quit. May just need to have your tires rotated and balanced to stop the vibration.

yeah, def. need a new window motor - thats a comon problem with VW's. Havent heard it being an issue with audi, but doesnt suprise me. Take it to an audi dealer and see what they say. its possible that if you have a faulty motor they'll replace it for free.

sounds like a balance problem. I had an '01 A6 2.7t too and i never had that problem, even when taking it up all the way to the limited 130mph(before it was chipped) - check the picture out B)
