Please put up with the new 61 year old kid, as this must have been discussed previously.
My 2001 TT's fuel gauge reads Empty with key off, Half Full when really empty{previous owner told me so}, and way Overfull upon topping the fuel tank. Is there a float adjustment? ...bad sender? ....bad gauge? ...bad wiring connections?...other? Also, only other cluster defect is an inoperative tachometer.
I am Audi blind{no books yet}. Are the manuals on CDs on eBay rip offs?

Thanks,
Gil

Ha! I've had my TT a week and one day, and the fuel gauge does exactly the same thing. Nobody told me, so I had a two-block walk to the gas station...

Welcome back to the 60's I do not feel alone....

Audi had a major recall on the cluster gauges and a lot of people were screwed over by Audi... if the pixels are decent just go with it... the lucky ones are those that go empty a half full your onboard computer which is in the middle will tell you how many miles you have left.... just depress the button on the blinker stick at end it will guide you through some stuff....
