Hi,

Has anyone got or used a OBDII Car Tool - Code reader, i bought one the other day off the web, i plug the lead into my Audi A4 2002 - and it does not find a fault yet the engine management light stays on?? i have emailed the people i got it from for some advice but was just wondering if anybody out there knows any other ways of turning the Orange Engine management light off!!

OBDII tools pull generic codes. you should get your hands on a VAG-COM tool (VW/Audi specific)

yeah i have got VAG COM and the lead but cant get it working at the moment, for some reason it wont successfuly connect, I need to spend a bit of time with it and get it working, ( i got the Car tool as a quick fix)
