Hello all, and thanks to the moderators for letting me in the club. I have a 1995 90Q. As I went to move the car the other day, right after I fired up, the brake pedal sank a little and became hard as a rock. I also lost all braking ability. The pedal only moves enough to light the brake lights, but will not even slow the car. I checked the booster by prying the line open enough to hear it hiss, so I have vacuum. Next, I cracked the lines at the m/c. The pedal will move . I tightened the m/c nuts, and moved to the lines entering the ABS. I cracked them, and the pedal moves. I did hear a small amount of air escape here, though. After tightening, the pedal is again hard as a rock. I'm starting to think it's the ABS brain or body. The car was an everyday driver, no warning at all. Anyone else ever have this problem? Thanks in advance, Bob.
