Hello to the Audi forums community. I am in the process of purchasing a 2002 A4 3.0 Quattro/6spd. The car has 37,000 miles and I will include a 4yr unlimited mileage extended warranty with my purchase. Here are my questions/concerns:
1. Was there an Audi coil over recall on all 2002 A4's and what impact did this repair have on the car?
2. I've read in various reviews that the A4 3.0 is not an exciting (seat of the pants) engine. I understand the torque curve and other engine data, but can anyone recommend some moderate engine upgrades, i.e. chips, intake, etc., that will help add a little more excitement to the driving experience?
3. I'm looking at upgrading the wheels and tires (up to 18"). If I run a 235/45 front and 245/45 rear setup, will this change from factory specs have any impact on the quattro system?
