Really want to lower my car a bit more but im not sure what to go with. Its got springs in now 45mm rear and 35mm front. But i think it could go down an extra 40mm all round.

Option 1 - Height - Dampening adjustable coilovers for about £400 up to 120mm lowering

Option 2 - Lowering spring caps £80 15 mm lowering

Don't want the ride to be too harsh and i just want it to look a bit better.

This is how it looks now.

Cheers guys

Hey Randomjim,

I thought you had decided to use the lowering "cups" since you already had lowering springs. But no?

Since the cups will only give you 15mm and you want 40mm it looks like your only option is to go with the coilover adjustable suspension. Maybe you can get some money for your springs here on the forum.

Audiworld did a project car using the Bilstein coilover system with a nice write up and photos.

and click on the B6 A4 project car.

You have to really like blue however.

I was gonna go with the 'cups' but i thought for the amount they cost and the gain i get i may aswell get coilovers. Hopefully 75 mm front and 85mm rear is ok on 18s. Can always adjust it i guess. Just gotta do some saving now.
