I have a 2004 Audi A4 with the audi concert cd player. I just bought the audi navigation system on e-bay. However, it doesn't fit in the console.
Do I have to buy any "double din" or any other harness to be able to use it?
Does anybody have an idea how much an audi dealer will charge me for the installation of the new navi system?
:liebe011: in advance.

Looks pretty tricky to me. isit the correct unit for a4 asi blieve there are different ones.
You dont have a double din hole in your dash only a single din hole with your radio in it, so your cc unit & switches will all have to drop down lower, if it is possible
You all need the ariel for the GPS in the sat nav to work.
If it was me i would go to a car hifi fitter, but with the extra bits you need i guess it will be expensive.
Good luck, let me know how you get on, as i thought of doing this myself once

Hi, you can get a kit on e-bay for about £25 plus post, its not a big job. The only thing is there are a number of RNS-e sat navs. Have a look on e-bay and it shows which 1’s fit A4 , A3 etc.

If you have the right 1 then its no prob, and yes you do need a GPS aeria
