Hi peeps,

Just got my first Audi,

A4 (2001) 1.9 TDI (130) SE Denim Blue

Full black leather interior, air con, climate control.....

I've been told that it can be re-mapped up to 170 bhp which i might do but would like to know of you guys if its advisable.

The extra power would be nice, its quick already if you got one yourself you will probably agree, but the extra power does sound tempting.

Also im looking for some new wheels, i want to get either some rs4 wheels but ive also seen some s8 or rs8 multispokes that flare towards the rim which look nice aswell so im unsure at the mo. any pics that anyone has would be appreciated so i can compare each different style.

I want to colour code the bottom of the bumpers and doors and get an rs4 spoiler and i recon that will do. dont want it to look tat, just smarter than the average a4.

Any tips comments or otherwise would be greatly apreciated as im new to this i need all the advise i can get!!!!

Thanks in advance!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Chip for sure as you should see better fuel economy and a hell of a difference in power.

If getting rims go for 18" and budget for lowering as you will look like a 4x4 once on. Have a look at replica RS6 wheel and you can also find replica B7 RS4 wheels too that look good.
Colour coding is always encouraged and the RS4 spoiler will look cool too.

When you say color coding, do you mean matching the trim color to the body paint, i.e., doing away with the grey trim on a black car? If so, any ideas how much this will cost? Do you get all new trim or just have someone paint the existing trim to match?

Thanks.

Yes painting the trim. It was actually done by the guy that i bought it from so not sure on prices but i know that he got someone to paint the exisiting trim. He is a dealer so you could ask him, heres his website Used Cars UK - Car Dealers and Auto Trader Diesel Estate Specialists Tail Lights Audi a4 VW Volkswagen

PS noticed that you also mentioned upping the BHP to around 170BHP you could have a look here Custom-Code - The Latest Innovation in Serial Port Chip Tuning Technology. Remap VW - Audi - Seat - Skoda - DIESEL 130PD 130 BHP I've not actually done it myself but i'm thinking about it
