Unfortunately my new baby doesn't have the luxury of sheltered accommodation and now it's getting damp again green mould is already appearing on the roof..

Audi handbook says to do nothing but brush a mohair roof but it's not gonna match the body soon..

Seen Renovo and Autoglym products available to clean, proof and prevent mould which would solve the problem but am a bit nervous about ignoring Audi advice..

Having said that it looks as though it may have already been treated once as there are patches where the colour is different as if someone has applied something unevenly..

Advice please!

Would probably go for one of those aftermarket products TBH. Have read good reports on the likes of Renovo & you can't go wrong with Autoglym anyway. Better than having a tatty looking hood.

For the future you could source a hardtop for winter motoring - best thing for an ungaraged Conv IMO & look mighty stylish too. None on Ebay ATM but they do come up pretty often.
