Just had the clutch and flywheel replaced on my 2002 A4 Quattro 3.0L at 60,250 miles as it had started to slip. Since the transmission shop didn't have any better access to parts than me I provided them myself. I thought the OEM clutch kit was a SACHs but the factory actually installed the less expensive LUK brand. There is a definte difference in the way the new clutch engages over the original and since I've owned the vehicle since new I know how it acted off the shoreroom floor. For anyone contemplating replacing thier stock clutch in kind I'd recommend going with the SACHs, it is about twice the price but in this instance I'd have to admit it was worth it. The original and replacement dual mass flywheels are both LUK.
