hello just brought a audi three button key of the internet, got the new key blade cut and it works in the ignition, but the programming instructions they sent me doesn't. any ideas please help.

Intructions?? I guess this is with using VAG-COM - not sure which version but i know you can progamme the keys with one of them.

Have you checked out some of the other topics - I am sure there is a topic explaining it all.

I believe you put another key in the ignition and turn the key to position 2, put the drivers window down (just in case).

Close and lock the doors with the key and then press the lock button on the fob, then unlock the doors and press the unlock button, then opne the boot with the key and press the boot unlock button.

I believe there should be a beep when you click the fob button to confirm that it has programmed.

Did you get sorted ! I have just bought one of those key fobs for my 2003 A4. I have not tried the instructions that came with it yet as I am having difficulty getting someone to cut the key. Where did you get yours cut - was it a specialist auto key place or something ?? :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

im not 100% on this one but...... but go in the car, turn it to acc and hold the lock button...
