Hi all,
I am new to the scene with an 1993 80 2.6 ( Australia). My instument cluster had some cct issues and a tacho that was not working. I found a replacement cluster which I installed which resolved my issues and even has the tacho functioning - sort of. The Tacho is reading substantially higher than actual , about 1000revs. Now the cluster I got may have come from a 2.0l car - Are these tacho's cyl (4-6) specific and can they be modified/adjusted at all.

Welcome your feedback

Great Forum by the way.
Alex.

Hi! Not exactly the answer, but I remember several switches on the back of the cluster for engine type and also a 2x4 cm circuit board which plugged into the cluster on the back and codes the onboard diagnostics.
