Hello again. Can you someone please help me identify whether my engine is an AAZ or 1Z. Its a 1993 Audi 80 1.9 TDI. can't find any sort of indication of the code on the engine itself. dont know where to find the engine number/code on your engine mate but -- if you look on your V5/ vehicle registration it may well have the numbers etc recorded where it says engine number

having just found my registration document, i now know the engine code is an AAZ. thanks for the suggestion
