Hi, can someone please tell me how to change the rear brakes on my 2001 Audi S3. They appear to have two slots on the piston, does this mean anything and would I need any special tools to fit the new pads ?.
When i changed the discs and pads on my wifes A3 1.8T i had a job to wind the pistons in and should have had a tool to do so but managed with a screw driver and small g-clamp to push the piston in while turning the screwdriver in the slot on the piston.
It does take some time but must be fully wound in before you can put the new pads on and sit the caliper over the discs.
Im guessing the S3 has a similar break set up but might be wrong..
