Hello all. This is my first post. I have had an 1996 Audi Coupe 1.8 for about 8 years that has developed a strange problem.
In hot weather the car will judder really bad at times and lose all power, eventually cutting out. Turning the engine off and on will more often than not cure the problem for a time. The juddering/missing can occur at any time in a journey.
Could it be a sensor of some kind overheating?
Any help would be gratefully received as it is going to be hot again!
It is not nice wondering if i shall get home or not after work!
