Thought I would introduce myself as I am new to these pages.
My names Richie, 36, English but live in Norway. Just bought my first Audi a few weeks ago after many years owning Japanese sports cars including Evo5 and '96 Supra RZ.
My original intention was to bring a RHD EvoVI from the UK to Norway, however, the LHD missus was non to pleased about RHD and the import duty was around 300%!
So.....change of plan, looked at what was available over here and every other car seems to be an A4 keeping the prices (relatively!!) low. Long story short, opted for a '97 1.8t with a few mods. Thought the current modifications would be a good basis for a little 'project' whilst at the same time keeping the missus happy and the kids comfy in the back.
I have to say, I am very happy with all aspects of the car despite its age and look forward to improving it further over time.
