Hey , i blew the timing belt and ended up messing up the heads and all that. My mechanic put a new head on it and changed the timing belt and it cost around 1800$ . After getting it back today , The car feels very very sluggish , doesnt feel like the turbo is working and It sounds like **** . A lot of ticking going on. I asked him and he said the car needs to be worn in due to the new head he put on. he said give it a few weeks and it should go away. I dont kno but does anyone know if thats the solution? Car is very very slow and wont take off like it used to . It drives like a slug now and seems like a peice of junk . Any advice or suggestions , thank you ,

ps : Car has 89,000 on it , jus got an oil change.

As a start, I'd take it to another mechanic (Audi specialist if possible) and get the turbo pressure checked along with compression checks on all cylinders to make sure this guy did his job properly when installing the new head.

Good luck

cheesmax is right sounds like compression leak on the head.

Is the car idleing badly or hard to start when cold?
