I have own a 1998 A3 TDI. When travelling at over 60mph and take my foot off the accelerator the car will not slow down it continues at the same speed. If I press the clutch in the engine revs out almost to the red line. If I touch the brake the engine will slow down.

Audi UK cannot find the fault. Has anyone else experience this problem?

Did Audi check the throttle posistion sensor?
