hi,i have an audi a4 tdi,02.cars been great untill saturday nite.parked up outside friends house and as i pulled away noticed that there was a huge wet patch on the floor.got out to inspect and found it was diesel.had been smelling of diesel the previous nite.took car to local garage the nx morning to find that the fuel pipe had split.havent had car fixed as yet,just wondering if this is a common problem??

you're still driving it...?! i'd say its probably not the best idea to drive a car with a fuel leak...

never heard of that.. your car should still be under warranty, have the dealer fix it

have checked and apparently not under warranty.no im not driving it and it is actually the fuel return pipe that has split.

hi.phoned audi and they asked for reg and miles of car and they said no sorry,warranty expired.guy at local garage made the call and didnt go into it too much.how long is an audi under warranty for usually and is it only after so many miles that it isnt.bought the car used does that make a difference?
