i'm guessing you have to rewire the fog lights to the parking lights...find out which wires run to the parking lights and it'll probably be a simple unplug and plug situation...if you can't find it on your own find a mechanic that u trust and won't beat you over the head....or better yet go to and audio n lighting place those guys are usually cool and can probably do it for u for not too much $$$$.

Hi,

i have got an A4 2002 and over here in the UK you can run the side lights(parking lights) and front fogs only by turning the side lights on and pulling the switch out for the fogs, (maybe different on A6 but i didnt think it was)

i have just got some Xeon gas 501 side light bulbs which look wicked with the Xeons...as there all one colour now not that yellowly light from normal side light blubs! (just thought i would tell ya!)

Cheers!

Controlling the fogs is the same on A4 and A6, but this is only for Europe. In the US, as far as I know, one can't normally run the fog lights with only the parking lights on.

So is the fuse 35 the same on the A4 as the A6?

I'm not sure about that. There's a possibility that they don't match. Check your user manual, all the fuses should be listed there.

hi... not sure if this was dead in the water... but..

I have just found out that on the B6 - ( could be same on B5) that you can set the lighting up via VAG-COM - ie different countrys have different lighting laws, so changing it via VAG-COM you can have the fog lights on only, or with side lights, or with headlights only, there are quit a few different settings..

Worth a try!
