I took my 98 A6 to the local dealership to get the lights aligned. They said that the adjustment screws were "backed out" by whomever tried to adjust it last. Is there any way I can get these to work again? I'd hate to have to pay $800 for new lights just because of these damned screws. Please, any and all info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? I don't have a camera working right now, so I can't take any pics, sorry. They're just the screws you use to adjust the beam up and down, side to side, ya know....

The screws that are accessible from outside turn some gears inside, which can be accessed if you remove the cover on the back side of the light block. You can then turn directly the wheel with a screwdriver or whatever. Hope that helps!
