I bought a second hand 3 se 1.8 last year, (4 years old) and at 54000 miles is due for its service. I could take it into the local audi dealership, in battersea , but heard that in general audi labour is overpriced. they quoted £360 before anything specific for a service. have also got a local garage in fulham who were recommended but don't necessarily specialise who do a service for about £200. am I missing a trick by going to the local cheaper garage? will this backfire on my service history when I want to sell it? any advice out there? many thanks

Welcome to the forum :)

You could always take the car to VW/SEAT/SKODA dealerships that will carry out exactly the same service and charge you half the labour rate as they are all part of the VAG group and most of them share the same engines and VAG-COM software etc so it would look better on your Full dealer stamped Service History !!

Just ring round them all to see what the best price is for the 50k service !!
