When I got my Audi TT (used), it came with a Motorola hands-free system specific to the V60. Unfortunately, Motorola hasn't really cared about providing updated phone cradles to work with newer phone models, so I simply don't use it. Plus, I've also learned you need a phone specifically programmed to work with this hands free system and not only are they expensive, they're old technology.

I checked into getting an aftermarket armrest and found the prices a bit excessive for what you get, plus it unseats the OEM cupholders. Yet, I could envision using the phone cradle mount as an armrest, if a large enough pad could be found. I think it's very possible to use securing screws into the mount.

Has anyone tried this, or know of someone who has? I've done some searching and haven't found anything yet...
