I am ready to lay down the cash for an A6, but Consumer Reports has me spooked. Does anyone know why they are so hard on the A6? Are there real problems or just minor inconveniences?

i haven't read anything about the A6 in CS. but with my experience CS's standards are higher than even car mags (road/track, MT, etc)... also, they rate cars on only safety, style, value etc not really performance. read some other car magazines don't just rely on CS.

maybe post a link to the CS review if you found it online.
