I own a 1996 audi s 6 i have looked everywhere and cant find the plug for the diagnoses.

Is it possible that this car never had a plug in for the computer ?

I can't say I know for sure. My plug in is lower left (drivers) side of the dash (actually underside of dash).

Thanks but i have fond the plug it is under the hood in a black box.it is only two connectors one white one black.

Thank you very much the information is apreciated. i will probably be able to find out why when i floor the gas the car hesitates for a couple of seconds then it flys.

"To "fix" the throttle response, turn the key to the "on" position (but without the engine running) and push the throttle to the floor. Poof: instant throttle fix." I got his off www.audiworld.com. I have not tried it but what could it hurt? I understand there is a fix through the VAG-COM also.
