Anyone have any experience or ideas about setting a 2003 allroad up on setting 3 or 4 heights and keeping it there?

I'm off the idea of variable heights, I want to rid myself of the pump, the sensors, the airsprings, everything. I want to put something like a damn set of Rancho's on it and be done.

I saw the price of the sets from Arnotts, OK- I'm sure they work well, but they're pretty expensive and they have them set on level 2, I want higher, I'll stick some bigger all terrain tires on it and paint it with Rhino Liner. Since my parking neighbors like to ding my doors, I'm riveting on a piece of aluminum angle that will act as a door protector- with a jagged edge like a saw blade on it. No more Mr Nice Guy.

Really interested in any solution for the replacement of the airsprings, any help is really appreciated. Thanks.

You could do a reverse 402 mod and instead of lowering it by making the suspension think it's too high, you can make the computer think it is too low and thus the level control will raise the vehicle.
You'll need a vagcom to do this.
