My name is Les and I've just purchased a 2001 a6 4.2 and I thought that I did a pretty good walk-through but...I did not realize at the time that my climate control system squeals at low speeds. I know that there a plenty of experts out there and if you could give me just a modicum of insight about this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Beyond that...this car is AWESOME !!!

Sounds like you need a new blower motor, common problem, will eventually fail completely, but the sqeeking will drive you insane. Good luck.

I've got what sounds like a similar problem, but I'd describe the noise in my car as more of a whine than just a squeak. Can sometimes be silenced by turning Climate off and on again.

Doe's this sound like the same problem?
