I have a 2008 Audi Quattro, less than 85K miles, stick shift. Today, I went to start it up and made a horrible sound and wouldn't stay in gear. I thought perhaps I caught something underneath and it was stuck, but that was not the case. So I tried several more times, and it will not stay in any gear. I'm thinking clutch or transmission issue. Anyone had this problem or have ideas of the cause. Thanks, D

There could be a few reasons why your Audi Quattro is stuck in gear. One possibility is that there's something caught in the gears, which can usually be cleared by gently tapping on the gearshift while it's in neutral. If that doesn't work, then you might need to take it to a mechanic to get it looked at.
Another potential issue could be with the transmission fluid levels. If they're too low, it can cause the car to slip out of gear. To check this, simply pop the hood and look at the transmission fluid levels - if they're below the minimum line, then you'll need to add some more fluid.
