Hello,

We purchased a used 2001 TT Quattro about a month and a half ago. For some unknown reason, the convertible will no longer open or close with the controls. When the button is used a flashing indicator appears on the instrument panel and that's it. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it as simple as a fuse?? I checked the fuse box but did not see a fuse for the convertible. Any input would be appreciated.

I also have a 2001 TT roadster and am experiencing the same problem with the convertible roof. It worked intermittently for a while and now does not work at all. I will keep you posted on my findings.

Well, I think I fixed the top. After removing the trunk liner and reseating the convertible top electrical connector the top has been working for the last several days.
