I've been having some problems with my 1993 Audi 80 2.0E, Auto.

Problem started a month ago where the car would stall when coming to a halt after running at temperature. After a lot of patience from my mechanic it was put down to a faulty hall sensor causing the engine to flood.

Its been 2 weeks since last repairs were done and i've noticed a light backfire when driving around. Any ideas? I have a new fuel pump, new coil, new sensor and this is really starting to get on my nerves. I'm guessing there is something wrong with the distributor but neither my mechanic or audi dealer mechanic can find a problem.

Oh, always breaks down at high temperature, after stop start driving and when the fuel tank was around 3/4 full, possibly coincidence...
