Audi RS2 NON STARTER AFTER CAM BELT FIT

Non starter after cam belt fit Audi RS2 2.2 1994 Engine ADU Motronic M2.3.2
we understand that certain elements of the fuel and ignition circuits do not power up until it sees a phasing signal between the referance signal and the engine speed signal, both these sensors are located on the flywheel bell housing side by side. The engine speed signal recieves it signal from the teeth on the starter ring and we have a good signal. The reference signal is picked up from the back of the flywheel on a single peg, producing a single frequency representing TDC. This signal is also good.
The cam to crank position has been checked and checked again and is correct, therfore we believe we have the correct settings for correct phasing of the two sensors that are required to power the rest of the system up
We have a constant power from the battery on pin 18 at the ECU
We have earths all good on pins 10 14 19 and 24
we have power on pin 55 from the vehicle immobilizer system when the ignition is on
WE HAVE NO POWER WHEN THE IGNITION IS ON TO THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS
HALL GENERATOR (camshaft sensor), IGNITION COILS, INJECTORS.
HELP ANY IDEAS OUT THERE
I'm still looking for a powering up relay or control relay as previously asked little is printed about the location of components for this model.

Hi everyone

You probably are not aware that ADU cambelt must be positioned out of the set mark on the cam pulley....

Don't tell me i'm crazy...

This is due to a different waterpump pulley compared to the ABY motor instead of setting a new/dedicated mark on the cam pulley Audi went for a "out of mark" set....

The issue it's well known on the RS2 fans world here you can see the "correct" setting:

Off set has to be just and only on the cam pulley the rest has to be put onmark!

Hello.
I've converted a AAN engine to a ADU, but i'm having problems puting the a engine run properly and since the image of cam pulley correct setting is no longer avaliable i want to ask you if you can show me that image, is it possible?

You can see the correct mounting position here:

Be aware thoug that you must have a complete RS2 ADU motor conversion to set your cambelt in that position wich means:

ADU cams
ADU waterpump (it has three teeth less then AAN and ABY)
ADU cambelt 110 teeth vs 111 of ABY/AAN

Hello.
Yes i've both everything that have a diferent reference, and the only thing that haven't a diferent reference is the intake camshaft.
Since the intake camshaft is the same i've delay 2 teeth in the camsahft chain to tray to achive the 10 degrees more of opening time.
Sorry but.......

I don't understand.... did you adjust the "belt" or the "tandemchain" of the cams?

Only if you have the parts that i mentioned you can go with the cams belt setup that you can see in the picture.

Otherwise it wil not work or even if the motor will run it will not run properly.

A different setup with the camshaft belt (belt not chain) can be made only by measuring the opening of the valves with micrometres and not only by turning the pulley back or forth of two teeth.....

i suggest you have a look here the forum's loaded of infos on this issue i picked up the first one i found:
