Audi A6 Allroad 2015 automatic - Brake Judder

Purchased from Audi dealer all sound and then slowly brake judder started to appear. Local garage changed front discs and pads, no real improvement, then back discs and pads, all sorted. Since then I have gone to a brake specialist twice to have the discs skimmed and we have now got a new set of performance pads all round to try and reduce the risk of material being left on the discs but this is not working either.
I drive like a nun and so does my wife and like a nun on steroids as this problem has dragged on for the past two and a half years.
Calipers have been checked and they are releasing, so what can it be? Otherwise the car is great and I don't want to chop it in. Running out of options, patience and money !!

Have you checked your front and rear suspension bushings for wear?
Following my post back in 2021, we endured the ongoing brake judder till around March 2022 and then one day I noticed that the judder was getting less and less and since April 2022 the brake judder has completely disappeared. In my view this is quite bonkers when the problem kept appearing with every new set of pads and discs. The only vaguely plausible explanation I can think of is that when new pads and discs were fitted the gap between the discs and pads was so small that the pads were rubbing on the discs and getting biblically hot and then depositing material onto the discs when I was braking. Over time the pads wore down the gap got bigger, more airflow, cooler discs and pads hence the reason the material stuck on the discs has been rubbed off and the problem has gone away. You experts are going to say nonsense but what other reason? I would welcome any suggestions. Next issue is when the current pads need replacing. I suppose The test would be to but half worn pads on (as in, brand new with half the material sliced off), if the brake judder never appears then my diagnosis has to be right?? who knows.
