hi all, im hoping someone in here can give me some advice,, i am the owner of an audi a6 2.5tdi avant,,,, i recently left the vehicle in to a very reputable company to get a new timing belt fitted,, (not an audi garage) i had only collected the car and done no more than twenty miles and the cart started to chug and i lost powered steering,, what happened was, the powered steering belt came of and got caught around the timing belt and caused the timing belt to come of thus knocking the car out of timing and wrecking a few cylinders and also the rocking covers,,, is this an audi problem or has anyone ever had the same problem or do you think it is down to bad workmanship.. i know audis are great cars as i have this one five years and have never had any problems with it,, any advice would be greatly appreciated,,
thanks all.

I've got an A6 Avant that had the timing/water pump belts changed 20,000 miles ago with no problems since. Sounds like poor workmanship to me. Get a lawyer!!
