Hi all. I am a new member of this forum and would like to get help to repair ignition switch. My 95 Audi 90 has the ignition swith on the dashboard and I'm having tough time to turn the key to start the car. I have to press the key hard and try to turn it several times and if I'm lucky it will start.
Yes, stering wheel is unlocked and car in park.
1. What parts I would need to fix it?
2. Will also need instructios how to do it.
Regards.

Hey Audi58...Greg here. First off welcome to the forums...Glad to have you aboard. Well I can relate to your ignition switch problem as I to had the same problem. There are a few websites on the net that have this part... here they are...
autohausaz.com
034motorsports.com

you can also check a few other forums for info on where to get the switch itself. To replace the switch...i found it easiest to remove the steering wheel and the instrument cluster then you can reach down and get at the switch to remove it. Or you can go from the drivers footwell by removing the storage tray and come at it from below...really it's your call...what is easiest for you. Good luck and post back...Cheers!!
