My question is... can I fix this without changing the ignition slot? Or if it must be changed can i install a ignition start button to do the same work? How do i do this? I do not know the wirings...

I did the push button ignition on my 88 audi 90. If you go to the12volt This will give you the wiring codes you will need to know which wires need power when... Then all you really need is a switch and a push start button.
