Apple Car play is flickering A4 2022

Hi,

I got Audi A4 car, when I try to connect my phone using the cable to connect the iPhone applications, it started flickering. sometimes it is connected and most of the times it does not. I tried another iPhones; some of them connected easily and some of them are facing the same flickering issue.

My iPhone does not face any Apple Car play issue when I connect it to my wife car Toyota RAV4, so it is not the iPhone issue. What could be the resolution?

Have you tried a different cable? That's usually been the culprit for me when I have connection issues. And an alternative you may consider is to just connect your phone to the car wirelessly. My 2022 A4 does this superbly.

There is no issue to connect via Bluetooth, but I cannot use the Google Maps without the cable, so I need to connect via cable. the strange thing, that it works for some phones and for others it does not work!
Are all the phones using the same version of iOS (both the phones that cause the flickering and those that don't)?

I am not sure, but my phone is on the latest iOS version, in addition it works perfectly on my other car Toyota RAV 4
What year is your A4? I can use Google Maps wirelessly in my 2022. Meanwhile, if some phones work and some phones don't work, it could be a phone problem - which may be as simple as lint buildup in the lightning plug receptacle (a wooden toothpick is my tool of choice for cleaning this, never use metal).

It is 2022, I cannot use the Google maps wireless, it says I have to connect it to a cable.
