I'm pretty unhappy with the sunroof as well, it seems to be something all Audi's have done for years, at least every one I ever owned did. I don't understand why they would build the car like this, if the roof can only open so far without creating the problem why not limit the opening to that point, period? I've noticed on my '04 allroad that if I open the rear windows only I have the same problem, and it's truly awful, really hurts your ears! Again, I've never owned a car that I couldn't roll the windows down!
As to the brakes, I don't know if the TDI is different than our USA cars, but I was initially disappointed with the brakes on our new allroad, and while I still don't like the feel, I've gotten used to them by now.
